Slovenia's waste exports to third countries down by 25% in 2021
Ljubljana, 24 February - Slovenia exported almost 150,000 tonnes of waste to third countries in 2021, some 25% less than in 2020. The amount of plastic waste was reduced by just over 40%. Metal, paper and plastic waste accounted for the majority of last year's waste imports to Slovenia, the Environment and Spatial Planning Inspectorate said.
