"Bloody day in Ukraine, Europe at war again": The most massive military attack in Europe after the Second World War is pushing Ukraine into a humanitarian catastrophe, says the paper, attaching several photos depicting the situation in the war-stricken Ukraine. (front page, pages 2-5)

Energy
"US gas no solution yet": If Russia shuts off liquefied natural gas supplies to Europe, the latter would need a number of years to fill the gap, according to an expert. Europe is meanwhile increasing gas imports from the US. (front page, page, 5)

"Putin at war with Ukraine and entire world": The target of the Russian attack on Ukraine is seizing its capital, Kyiv, to overthrow the government and replace it with a pro-Russian regime, reads a reportage by a Dnevnik reporter.
