Universities must not submit to economic logic, debate hears

Ljubljana, 25 February - Universities must create new knowledge and must not subordinate to the logic that their sole role is to educate future employees, University of Ljubljana chancellor Gregor Majdič said at a debate on the future of higher education and knowledge society in Slovenia hosted by the Chancellors' Conference on Thursday.
