Krka recovery pushes benchmark index higher

Ljubljana, 2 March - Drug maker Krka put on nearly 3% as it gradually recovered from a slump due to its exposure to Russia, pushing the SBI TOP benchmark on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange 1.3% higher on Wednesday to 1,136.00 points. Insurance stocks also offset some of their losses. Volumes topped EUR 4.5 million, with Krka accounting for more than half the turnover.
