Committee okays environment protection bill

Ljubljana, 3 March - The parliamentary Environment Committee endorsed on Wednesday evening an environment protection bill to which the coalition had tabled more than 120 pages of amendments. The opposition had proposed, in vain, postponing the sitting to debate the additional amendments, but Minister Andrej Vizjak argued there was no need for that.
