Exports up 20.5% year-on-year in January, imports surge 52.1%

Ljubljana, 7 March - Slovenia exported EUR 3.5 billion worth of goods in January, or 20.5% more than in the same month last year, while imports surged by 52.1% to EUR 3.9 billion, the Statistics Office reported on Monday. A trade deficit of EUR 400 million was thus recorded for the exports-to-imports coverage of 89.2%.
