Committee okays blanket ban on fracking

Ljubljana, 8 March - The parliamentary Infrastructure Committee endorsed in second reading on Tuesday the government-sponsored amendments to the mining act, which now include a blanket ban on fracking, a proposal both coalition and opposition MPs had tabled. The additional amendment was backed unanimously.
