New act on money laundering and terrorism financing passed
Ljubljana, 23 March - The National Assembly passed on Wednesday a new act on the prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing, replacing the relevant act from 2016. While the government argued the act was needed so as to transpose three EU directives, the centre-left opposition is concerned that it will give relevant authorities too broad powers.
