Slovenian-American Friendship Day marked in Polzela
Polzela, 6 April - A ceremony marking the Slovenian-American Friendship Day was held in Andraž nad Polzelo on Wednesday to honour the crew of the American B-17 bomber downed there in March 1944. President Borut Pahor and US Ambassador Jamie L. Harpootlian also marked the 30th anniversary of the Slovenian-US diplomatic relations on the occasion.
