NGOs urge against lowering of standards in agriculture

Ljubljana, 19 April - Plan B for Slovenia, a network of Slovenian NGOs promoting sustainable development, has accused the Agriculture Ministry of trying to lower environmental and health standards as part of adjustments to the impact of the war in Ukraine. The NGOs say this is unacceptable and could "seriously undermine long-term food security in Slovenia".
