Schools and kindergartens take action to decrease food waste

Ljubljana, 17 June - A record 160 schools and kindergartens joined the food waste awareness project Hrana ni za tjavendan (Food is not a joke) this year. On average, the institutions were able to decrease food waste by 30%, some even by 90%, according to Ekošola, the environmental education organisation leading the project.
