PM Golob to propose Bosnia be granted EU candidate status

Brussels, 17 June - Prime Minister Robert Golob will propose that Bosnia and Herzegovina be granted EU candidate status at next week's EU summit. Wrapping up his visit to Brussels, he acknowledged that a single member state can prevent this process, but he hopes that reason will prevail. Golob welcomed the EU Commission's backing of Ukraine's bid to join the bloc.
