Food prices
"Reduced VAT for food not expected yet": Delo announces an interview with Prime Minister Robert Golob in its Saturday supplement, which will be issued on Friday due to a national holiday, in which he talks about measures to "make the correct redistribution between the middle and upper classes." (front page, 2)

Fuel prices
"Diesel along motorways will be cheaper": The government is to change today two decrees to make diesel fuel at filling stations along motorways cheaper, not only for cargo vehicles, but for all vehicles, by eliminating certain levies paid to the state. (front page, 9)

Plečnik year
"Differently about Plečnik in jubilee year": The Plečnik: the Metropolis, Place and Garden exhibition, which opened in the City Museum of Ljubljana in honour of the 150th anniversary of the birth of architect Jože Plečnik, "speaks about the great master in a slightly different way." (front page)

Dentistry
"How dentistry got stuck in the 1980s": Not only patients, who have to wait for prosthetics for a long time, are unhappy - their dentists are unhappy too, as it seems that dental medicine in Slovenia has undeservedly found itself at the bottom of the list of priorities. (front page, 3)

Tourism
"Hotel sealed, tenant banished along with security guards": This year's tourist season on Črnava Lake near Preddvor ended before it started, as the new owner of the Hotel Alma and Hrib Mansion banished the tenant at the end of April and started emptying the premises. The local authorities have launched legal measures against the owner. (front page, 8)

Food prices
"How much more a visit to a shop costs you than in 2020": The paper compares a weekly purchase by a family and its costs for food in 2020 with the same costs today, noting that, for example, the price of ground meat has gone up by more than 40%. (front page, 2-3)

Companies
"Debt restructuring at Electa Inženiring annulled due to fraud": A company has succeeded in suing Electa Inženiring over the simplified court-mandated debt restructuring in the latter being fraudulent, as it involved "friendly claims and creditors." This is the first case in the Slovenian judiciary of this kind. (front page, 4)

E-car sharing
"Futurism six years ago, today it has 25 thousand users": The Avant2Go system of sharing of electric cars has conquered six Slovenian cities in six years, and it is also expanding in Croatia's Zagreb and Dubrovnik. (front page, 18)

"How to get workers?": The lowest unemployment rate since 1990 is causing difficulties for employers in finding staff, so they are getting increasingly open to cooperating with active retirees, refugees and immigrants. (front page, 2, 5-6)

War in Ukraine
"Ministry does not want to reveal data about APCs": The Slovenian army has boosted their presence at the eastern NATO Flank, while the Defence Ministry does not plan any additional reassignments. The ministry does not want to comment on reports of a donation of old APCs to Ukraine. (front page, 3)

White-collar crime
"Suspended sentence and fine for Tuš": After they repented for what they have done, businessman Mirko Tuš and his wife Tanja Tuš received suspended prison sentences and fines for abuse of office and money laundering in the sale of the telcoms company Tušmobil. (front page, 12)

Art project
"Facing death photographically": The idea to make a photograph of a dying person and then a photograph of the person in the same pose after their death, and publish the photographs as artistic diptych is the starting point of the Facing Death project. (front page, 18)
