Delo says US celebrates Independence Day deeply divided

Ljubljana, 4 July - The newspaper Delo says in Monday's front-page commentary Once upon a Time in America that the US, the democratic West's only superpower, was once considered the embodiment of Enlightenment values of freedom and enterprise, while it celebrates its 246th birthday marked by self-doubt and deep political and ideological divisions.
