Govt backtracks on pay promise, angering public sector unions

Ljubljana, 4 July - The government and public sector trade unions kicked off pay talks on Monday, with the government backtracking on its promise to raise the value of individual pay brackets, offering instead one-off bonuses to cause indignation among trade unions.
