Govt adopts legislation transposing GDPR

Ljubljana, 14 July - The government adopted on Thursday a bill on personal data protection that aims to transpose the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) into Slovenia's legislation. The Information Commissioner welcomed the move, noting that Slovenia remains the only EU member state that failed to draft new legislation following the GDPR.
