Brussels welcomes action on media independence
Brussels, 15 July - The European Commission has welcomed Slovenia's action regarding media independence after the National Assembly passed amendments to the act on public broadcaster RTV Slovenija that strip parliament of its role in appointing members of management and supervisory bodies.
