The meeting at the Luschaalm, featuring local officials from the Austrian border municipalities Globasnitz, Eisenkappel-Vellach and Črna na Koroškem in Slovenia, is aimed at supporting cross-border cooperation.

Before the event, Pahor will meet Kaiser. They will visit the Peršman Museum in Bad Eisenkappel, which has been erected in memory of eleven Carinthian Slovenians who were shot dead by members of the Nazi SS units and police regiment at the Peršman farm on 25 April 1945, shortly before the end of the second World War.

The Peršman homestead was a stronghold of the Partisan resistance movement during the war. Pahor will lay a wreath there in memory of the eleven hostages who were killed in retaliation by the Nazis.
