Upper chamber vetoes omnibus act reversing measures of previous govt

Ljubljana, 20 July - The National Council has vetoed an omnibus act passed by the lower chamber of parliament to reverse what have been deemed as harmful measures of the previous government. The act was vetoed in a 17 to 13 vote on Wednesday, with supporters expressing belief it would be better to amend individual acts than pass an omnibus bill.
