Kras fire
"Thousand firefighters battling fire and wind": Voluntary and professional firefighters from across the country are worn out, having battled flames in the Kras region for five days. The images left behind by the blaze are apocalyptic. (front page, 4, 5)

Cap on gas prices
"State to pay for cheaper gas for citizens": In line with the expectations the government capped prices of natural gas for protected consumers, mainly households, health and social care institutions and small commercial consumers. (front page, 3)

Tour de France
"Pogačar surrenders yellow jersey to Vingegaard": Tadej Pogačar will have to settle for a second spot and the white jersey for best young rider in the Tour de France after missing the last chance to win the yellow for the third year running in stage 18. (front page, 19)

Gas supply

Cap on gas prices
