Water for Istria to be transported by trucks from hinterland

Ljubljana/Koper, 22 July - The government approved a plan on Friday for transport of drinking water to Istria, as the region braces for water rationing due to severe drought. Water will be extracted from the river Unica, north of Postojna, and transported in tanker trucks to a water works facility near Črni Kal, the government said in a press release.
