Večer calls for deterrence, not revengefulness in prison sentences

Ljubljana, 9 August - Commenting on the sentence for a triple murderer from Gerečja Vas being changed from life sentence to 30 years behind bars, Večer noted that case law, when it comes to life imprisonment, has yet to be created in Slovenia and warns against society becoming revengeful instead of supporting preventive and deterring sentences.
