Attempted murder convict gets 15-year prison sentence halved

Ljubljana, 10 August - The Supreme Court has almost halved the 15-year prison sentence an elderly man received for his 2018 attempted murder of his woman neighbour. The court maintains he did not commit the crime in a hideous way and has thus reclassified it from attempted murder to attempted manslaughter, the Delo and Slovenske Novice papers reported on Wednesday.
