Solkan hydro power plant shut down again

Solkan, 24 August - The Solkan hydro power plant on the river Soča in the west of the country has been shut down once again due to low water levels in what is the third drought-related shutdown this year after nearly two decades of undisrupted operations, said the operator Soške Elektrarne Nova Gorica.
