Austrian Ludwig Hartinger wins literary translation award
Ljubljana, 31 August - The Association of Slovenian Literary Translators has conferred the Lavrin Diploma for 2022 on Ludwig Hartinger, an acclaimed Austrian translator who has translated many Slovenian works into German. The jury highlighted in particular his translations of poets Srečko Kosovel, Tomaž Šalamun, Dane Zajc and Svetlana Makarovič.
