EU presents legislation inspired by media situation in Slovenia

Brussels, 16 September - European Commission Vice-Presidents Vera Jourova presented in Brussels on Friday the media freedom act, aimed at enabling stable financing of media such as the Slovenian Press Agency (STA). She said the message to journalists was that they might soon be better protected against attacks that prevent them from doing their job freely.
