Ex-foreign minister urges Pahor not to dismiss ambassador to US

Ljubljana, 19 September - Dimitrij Rupel, Slovenia's longest-serving foreign minister, has called on President Borut Pahor to turn down the government's proposal to dismiss Tone Kajzer as Slovenia's ambassador to the United States. In a public letter to Pahor, Rupel says the ambassador has done nothing wrong, quite the opposite.
