Expert warns against victim blaming in intimate partner homicides

Ljubljana, 20 September - There have been five murders or attempted murders in Slovenia this year, where the victim was a woman and the perpetrator her intimate partner or ex-partner. Jasna Podreka from the Ljubljana Faculty of Arts sees the reason for this disturbing trend also in victim blaming. It is not love or jealousy that kills, but violent men, she said.
