Illegal border crossings nearly double in first eight months
Ljubljana, 19 September - Police intercepted 11,409 foreigners who illegally crossed the Slovenian border in the first eight months of this year, a 93% increase on the same period last year. Nationals of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan continue to form the majority of such migrants.
