Revised data shows government deficit at 4.7% of GDP in 2021

Ljubljana, 23 September - Slovenia's general government deficit stood at EUR 2.440 billion or 4.7% of gross domestic product (GDP) in 2021, shows the latest report by the Statistic Office, which has shed EUR 310 million from the initial estimate in March. Gross general government debt was at 74.5% of GDP, 0.2 percentage point less than thought initially.
