Slovenia officially starts campaigning for UN Security Council

New York, 27 September - President Borut Pahor and Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon officially launched a campaign for Slovenia to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2024-25 at a formal reception in New York on Monday, giving solid ground as to why the country should secure a seat instead of its counter candidate, Belarus.
