Talks start with doctors over pay demands

Ljubljana, 27 September - Senior government officials had an introductory meeting on Tuesday with the representatives of Fides, the trade union of doctors and dentists, whose members threaten to go on strike on 19 October unless they are extracted from the single system governing salaries in the entire public sector.
