Ombudsman tells UN rapporteur right to drinking water yet to be enforced
Ljubljana, 4 October - Human Rights Ombudsman Peter Svetina met David R. Boyd, the UN special rapporteur on human rights and the environment, on Tuesday with one of the issues raised being the right to drinking water that Slovenia has enshrined in its constitution but not yet put into practice or set down in a nation-wide legislative framework.
