Janša absent, lodges objection as proceedings begin in Trenta property case

Celje, 5 October - An arraignment hearing was held in Celje on Wednesday over a contentious chain of real estate deals involving opposition Democrats (SDS) president Janez Janša in 2005, when he served as prime minister. Janša, who denies the charges, did not appear in court. The only defendant present pleaded not guilty.
