Defence spending to increase to 1.44% of GDP by 2024

Ljubljana, 12 October - Slovenia's defence spending is to increase to EUR 976.6 million next year, amounting to 1.36% of GDP, and to EUR 1.064 billion the year after, reaching 1.44% of GDP, Defence Minister Marjan Šarec told the STA of the government's defence spending plan, expressing hope that the National Assembly will pass the budgets for the next two years.
