Delicious food galore for annual November Gourmet Ljubljana
Ljubljana, 14 October - Ljubljana will once again bring joy to its foodies this autumn, with the 6th edition of November Gourmet Ljubljana featuring a number of events, dinners and experiences. The festival will be taking place at the same time as the Women's EHF European Championship, and like the championship it will put a spotlight on women.

The kitchens of chefs Igor Jagodic, Janez Bratovž and Mojmir Šiftar will host female chefs, presenting delicious plates created in tandems of male and female chefs.
The festival will also feature an event titled Moms of Chefs, while Wine and Women will feature female sommeliers. The event Microworld will feature women creating fermented foods.
Like every year, the festival will open with the European Food Summit, which will take place between 5 and 7 November.
Among other things, Gourmet Ljubljana Crawl remains one of the highlights of the festival, allowing participants to enjoy cuisine, culture and architecture.
"Attendance at festival events grows every year, while its content evolves in line with trends in gastronomy," Tourism Ljubljana has said ahead of November Gourmet Ljubljana.
"We are expanding our cooperation with festivals in other fields, this year it's music," said Tourism Ljubljana Petra Stušek, referring to the Kurzschluss music festival.
Stušek moreover expressed great satisfaction that the festival was bringing together Slovenia's entire gastronomical sphere.
"Restaurants, hotels, bars, wine bars, coffee shops and various hospitality schools and studios hosting workshops and other events are becoming increasingly active every year in helping co-create the festival with their proposals and ideas and also by bringing guests and creating connections," said Stušek.
