Slovenia joins three EU states to boost role of forests

Ljubljana, 17 October - Four EU members, including Slovenia, that joined forces in an informal strategic partnership for forests signed on Monday guidelines for closer cooperation in forestry management within the EU. The document was signed by the ministers in charge of forests of Slovenia, Austria, Finland and Sweden as they met in Luxembourg.
