International Whaling Commission meeting in Portorož

Portorož, 17 October - Slovenia is hosting 320 delegates from 70 countries for the 68th session of International Whaling Commission (IWC) in Portorož this week. Environment Minister Uroš Brežan says that by chairing the commission Slovenia is reaffirming its position as a maritime country that always puts environmental protection first.
