Slovenia to sign Algerian gas supply contract shortly, minister says
Koper, 20 October - Slovenia's gas trader Geoplin will shortly sign a natural gas supply deal with Algerian Sonotrach, Infrastructure Minister Bojan Kumer said during a visit to port operator Luka Koper on Thursday. The government is supportive of all efforts by Geoplin to acquire gas from the west, he said.

An LNG terminal on the island of Krk is seen as one of the options en route for Slovenia to get its alternative gas supplies from the Middle East and North Africa.
