EU court nominees present their bids, vote outcome uncertain
Ljubljana, 21 October - Both candidates for a judge on the EU's Court of Justice, incumbent Marko Ilešič and Jure Vidmar, chair of public international law at the Maastricht University Faculty of Law, stressed their professionalism and credentials at their public presentations Friday. It remains unclear which one could obtain the 46 votes needed in parliament next week.
