National Assembly passes bill raising public sector pay

Ljubljana, 25 October - The National Assembly passed on Tuesday changes to the public sector pay system act that put into law the government's agreement with relevant trade unions raising salaries by nearly 9% for most public sector employees. The bill worth an estimated EUR 611 million was confirmed despite being opposed by the coalition Left.
