Pahor gives Order of Freedom to June 1991 police graduates
Ljubljana, 25 October - President Borut Pahor decorated with the Order of Freedom a generation of policemen who completed secondary school on 27 June 1991, received weapons the same night and were sent straight to war, as the Yugoslav army attacked Slovenia just hours after independence was ceremoniously declared in the centre of Ljubljana.
