Ombudsman says independent institutions subject to political pressure

Ljubljana, 27 October - Human Rights Ombudsman Peter Svetina warned in parliament on Thursday as he presented his 2021 annual report that independent state institutions' reputation was being undermined by decision-makers and the authorities when their actions do not match their political goals.
