Ilešič endorsed by National Assembly as candidate for EU Court judge

Ljubljana, 27 October - The National Assembly endorsed on Thursday Marko Ilešič as candidate for EU Court judge. Ilešič, 75, who has been a judge on the EU Court since 2004, received 48 votes in a secret ballot, while Jure Vidmar from the Faculty of Law at Maastricht University got 12 with 22 ballots invalid.
