Annual inflation drops below 10%

Ljubljana, 28 October - Slovenia's annual inflation rate dropped below 10% for the first time since May to 9.9% in October, down 0.1 percentage point from the month before, as consumer prices rose 0.8% in a month. Higher food and energy prices continue to drive inflation, fresh figures from the Statistics Office show.
