November Gourmet Ljubljana kicking off
Ljubljana, 2 November - The gastronomy festival November Gourmet Ljubljana gets under way in the capital on Wednesday. Running until the end of the month, it will bring various food events and experiences with a special focus devoted to women.

The 6th November Gourmet Ljubljana will celebrate gastronomy and everybody who plays a part in it - chefs, bakers, home producers, market vendors, food stylists and photographers, and others.
This year, special attention will be paid to women at various events dedicated to food or wine. Moreover, female chefs will join forces with their male colleagues to create unique dishes.
A number of Ljubljana restaurant owners will incorporate the festival theme into their regular offering through exclusive dishes.
November Gourmet Ljubljana will begin with the annual European Food Symposium that will take place from 5 to 7 November.
As every year, the festival will be accompanied by the Gourmet Ljubljana Crawl, a fusion of cuisine, culture and architecture, the Ljubljana Soul Chefs event, where participants will experience a culinary evening focusing on the family, and an education-oriented expert symposium on the future of food in Europe.
The traditional Ljubljana Wine Route will be held during St. Martin's Day celebrations, and for the first time, November Gourmet Ljubljana will also join forces with a music festival, the Kurzschluz festival.
