Jobless total down by fifth y/y despite seasonal spike in October

Ljubljana, 4 November - After Slovenia recorded its lowest registered jobless total since independence in September, the figure rose by 1.8% in October to 52,991, which is still 20.5% below the figure recorded by the Employment Service a year ago. The monthly spike is mainly due to youth registering as unemployed after their student status expired.
