R&D spending up 11% nominally last year, down as share of GDP

Ljubljana, 4 November - Gross domestic expenditure on research and development (R&D) in Slovenia amounted to EUR 1.1 billion last year, which is 11% more than in 2021, show preliminary data from the Statistics Office. Nevertheless, the share of total expenditure on R&D in GDP decreased by 0.1 of a percentage point to 2.14%.
