Committee votes down proposals against museum merger

Ljubljana, 7 November - The parliamentary Culture Committee discussed on Monday the government's plan to merge the Independence Museum with the Museum of Contemporary History. Opposition MPs called for preserving the former as a separate institution, but the Democrats' (SDS) proposals pursuing this were voted down.
