Proposal on officials' drug testing voted down by committee

Ljubljana, 8 November - The parliamentary Health Committee voted down another proposal to introduce mandatory drug testing for senior officials and MPs in what is the second time such a bid was rejected in parliament this term. Under the Democrats' (SDS) proposal, the officials would have to test for illicit drug use at least once a year without advance notice.
